Because we work by appointment, we require cancellation of appointment 24 hours before your appointment time. This enables us to fill your appointment time. We understand emergencies happen and while last-minute cancellations are a part of life. We expect them to be uncommon if you have a habit of forgetting appointments, no worries, we can set up reminder calls for you! In some cases, pets arriving more than 20 minutes late may need to be rescheduled. No shows will be noted. If you miss your appointment, we not only have lost business for the day but also have a spot for a customer who could have used it. If you fail to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, there will be a cancellation fee of $20 added per pet.

We are a flea-free facility. Please let us know upfront if your pet has fleas as we will immediately treat for fleas upon entering the facility if your pet has fleas, we will automatically use Capstar and flea shampoo at your expense to prevent infestation in our shop. If you don’t know about your dog has fleas and we found them during the services, we must to used CapStar and flea shampoo at your expense. Any tick removal will require an extra fee (remember ticks and fleas transmit dangerous diseases).

Neglect of the pet’s coat can be cause for problems after grooming such as clipper rash, or brush irritation Pets Door to Door is not responsible for any reaction the pets (s) may have if not exposed to regular grooming. A matting release form will be required if excessive matting occurs.

Proof of updated rabies and other vaccines that prevent infectious diseases to be spread between pets are required

Pets Door to Door makes their best effort to interpret the grooming instructions given. All grooming is guaranteed for 72 hours. Anything that is brought to our grooming within reason will be fixed free of charge. After 72 hours, any work done will be charged an additional groom price.

Accidents can happen. Every effort will be made to ensure your pet is groomed or bathed as safely as possible, but an excited pet can be dangerous to continue to work on. If your pet is injured while in the care of Pets Door to Door, we will notify you immediately. If you insist on coming in before we call you back for pick up. We have the right to end the grooming session, even if the groom is not complete and the full price will be charged. If your pet is injured during the grooming process, they will be immediately taken to the nearest available veterinarian for treatment as the owner of the pet, you will be responsible for all charges incurred.
